When 4×4 Land Rover Jeeps pick you up from your accommodation in the morning, the Alanya Jeep Safari & Rafting Tour officially begins. For 80 kilometres, the car will take you through the Taurus Mountains. You will get the chance to see a number of villages along the way on your jeep safari and take in the beauty of Turkish true country life. At one of these lovely settlements, a little stop will be taken. You will see some of the traditional homes with your guide to get a feel for the locals’ way of life.
In addition, there will be a visit to the village mosque. The safari vehicles keep driving in the direction of Köprülü National Park. Your sense of adventure will increase thanks to the safari, as the jeeps will be driving through some very muddy and dirty off-road areas.

What do you need to bring with you?
Please remember to bring your sunscreen, sunglasses, swimming costumes, towels, and water-resistant shoes or sneakers (No flip-flops), T-shirt to wear beneath your life jacket, spare clothing for the trip’s finish.
You will get picked up from your place of accommodation in Alanya, then, you will make your way to the mountains.
Along the way, you will stop for pictures and a lunch break. All of these stops will provide you with stunning views to take pictures. You will also stop at the Tashkil village, where you can communicate with the locals and get to know them better. Then, you will stop at a local restaurant. There, you can fuel up for the adventurous day ahead.
The first part of the adventure includes the jeep safari. This will take place in the mountains as you cross wet and dusty paths. There will be many jeeps and you can have a water fight with others for more fun.
Once the jeep safari is over, you will head towards the rafting station. There, the professionals will provide you with important safety and rafting instructions. You will also be equipped with all the safety tools you will need during your rafting experience.
Then, you can begin rafting in the Koprucay River. The river is crystal clear, and forests surround it. You can also jump in the river during the break and enjoy swimming.

I had a great time with my partner. Driving with jeeps on the rocky roads was a little scary for me, but it was still cool that I did it. Selim, our tour guide, was friendly and amusing. Rafting was a lot of fun.
Tip: Wear water shoes. Put on a wet suit (this is included and you can get it there).

We wholeheartedly recommend the tour! More than the rafting, we enjoyed the jeep safari. Our guide spoke fluent English and even Polish, so he was able to effectively translate everything. You can choose to swim the final bit or continue walking through the canyon. (I suggest swimming. The water may be cold, but the experience is priceless!)
I booked the Alanya jeep and rafting tour for 32€ and it was well worth it! The pick-up and drop-off service was reliable. As with any tour, you begin by driving from a few hotels until you arrive at the river (you should plan about 1.5 hours each way). Hiking and swimming in the gorge are the absolute highlights at first. The water temperature was only 17 degrees, according to the guide. However, you have a fantastic view (among other things, you can see the old Roman bridge from below). It was also a lot of fun to go rafting. However, there were far too many boats and people on the water at the same time. In addition, numerous water fights were held (animated by the guides). Rafting is not for those who simply want to relax on the water and take in the scenery. It is suggested for those looking for more action. The meal was adequate. Nothing spectacular, but adequate for the price. Amazing and enjoyable experience!
