All excursions, tours, and services booked through JoinExcursions.com (operated by Sunny Side Travel, TÜRSAB License No: 16322, under BAUM Travel & Tourism Ltd.) are strictly governed by the regulations set forth by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) and Turkish Consumer Protection Laws. These regulations are fully aligned with European Union consumer rights standards to ensure your maximum protection and peace of mind.
1. Payments & Pricing
Flexible Payments: Customers may choose to pay securely online at the time of booking or in person (in cash) on the day of the excursion.
Transparent Pricing: All displayed prices are final and inclusive of local Value Added Tax (VAT). There are no hidden fees.
2. Deposit Requirements
While many of our excursions require no upfront payment, certain premium tours or specific third-party supplier policies may require a deposit ranging from 10% to 30% of the total tour price.
Upon successful payment of a deposit, an electronic ticket (e-ticket) confirming your payment details and itinerary will be instantly generated and sent to you.
3. Itinerary Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances
We are committed to delivering the exact experiences described on our platform. However, JoinExcursions.com reserves the right to alter, modify, or adjust parts of a tour itinerary without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather conditions, sudden safety concerns, or operational restrictions). The safety and well-being of our guests are always our top priority.
4. Cancellations & Refund Policy If We Cancel Your Tour:
In the rare event that JoinExcursions.com must cancel an excursion due to weather or operational issues, you are entitled to a 100% full refund of the amount paid, or you may choose to reschedule for another available date.
Please note: We are not liable for any incidental expenses or personal costs incurred beyond the actual price of the canceled tour.
If You Cancel Your Tour:
More than 14 days before the scheduled tour: 100% Full Refund.
7 to 13 days before the scheduled tour: 50% Refund.
3 days or less before the scheduled tour: No Refund.
5. Modifying Your Booking
If you need to change your tour date or switch to a completely different excursion, please notify us at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to your scheduled departure.
We will do our absolute best to accommodate your requested changes entirely free of charge, subject to availability.
6. Passport & Visa Requirements (International Tours)
For cross-border excursions (e.g., day trips from Turkey to the Greek Islands), a valid physical passport is strictly mandatory.
EU citizens generally do not require a visa for these specific short-term excursions; however, it remains the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure all personal travel documents comply with current border regulations.
7. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Should any issue arise during your excursion, please notify your tour guide or our local staff immediately so the matter can be resolved on the spot. Alternatively, you may contact our support team via email or WhatsApp.
In the unlikely event that a dispute cannot be resolved amicably through direct communication, it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, where the tour services are rendered.
